Our fragrance oil based artisan soaps are an added layer of fun. It's the preverbal party in the back we all need in life for balance. These soaps are still made with the same quality carrier oils as all of our soaps are made with, but contain fragrances for those without sensitive skin issues.

I thought I didnt like rose fragrance items, so I used rose absolute instead. [Look up how much rose absolute is lol]
Turns out, I simply dont like the rose scent period. Whether its the fragrance or the real deal in the absolute form.
I only make rose scented items for my customers. I plan on making some for the spring, but life has me in so many directions right now, who know what I will get to when.

![I made a coconut soap laundry detergent [for myself, not necessarily to sell lol].
The process started off with making an all coconut oil soap for its cleansing properties.
Then, mixing that with super washing soda.
And that's really it, lol. [It's still a process, though]
I split this batch into 3 scents:
- unscented
- lavender
- citrus [sweet orange/tangerine/lime].
I also left 2 bars [4 sticks total] as spot removal sticks.
It really works, y'all. Even my mom raved to me about the sticks getting a stain off of one of her white shirts where the washing machine left a mark.
I do find for my soap making rags with lots of oils soaked in them.. I need to add something extra to the mix to get it all out. But for my actual laundry, I totally love this stuff on its own.
I actually forgot to record a few parts, but the video still flows in general.

![I decided to make a TNT Castile soap. It's 75% olive oil based.
It's not 100% olive oil because I added coconut oil [15%] for more cleansing properties and castor oil [10%] for lather/bubbles.
It's a personal bar of soap, hence the random green color on it just for purposes of identification, lol. 😂
As I learned more about how the properties of infused oils last better in lotions and butters over soaps in herb class, I had a bunch of infused oils I needed to use. I put them all in this one large batch, lol.
Because I'm efficient!!!! It's what made me great in my corporate job. 😂🤌🏾 [No lie, though].
If anyone wants to try it, I'll include a few bars on the website for the fall drop.
Please note, if you have any type of allergy to any flower, this will NOT be the buy for you. There is everything from a lavender bud infusion to rose hips 🤷🏾♀️.

![Making herbal oils: This first batch of four oils will consist of cold-pressed sweet almond oil and the following flowers:
- Arnica
- Aztec Marigold
- Calendula and
- Chamomile.
I started the process off using the alcohol intermediate method, spraying the flowers with 190 proof EtOH [derived from sugar cane].
Next, I let the mixture sit for a couple of hours to help extract more of the constituents from the herbs.
Rosemary antioxidant and vitamin E oils were added to help extend the shelf life of the herbal oils.
Now I have to wait 2-4 weeks to press/strain the oil for use to sell as is or add to body butters and creams.

To achieve the base color, we started with oils infused with dandelion root, calendula, chamomile & Aztec marigold — to nourish, soothe, and restore.
Then, we blend in rich mango butter, unrefined cocoa butter, and creamy goat milk for a decadent, skin-softening lather.
The bottom layer has ground annatto seeds for light exfoliation.
Scented with bright tangerine, orange 5x fold, lemongrass, and grounding Himalayan cedarwood — a vibrant, earthy citrus bouquet. 🍊🌼🌿
Every bar is a slow-crafted harmony of plant power and skin nutrition.

![Today was my second class in my herbal program [it's a year long].
We made a tisane using the cold infusion method.
Since I like my teas hot, I did warm it up ever so slightly, as I didn't want to mess with the mucilage.
